Mountain climbers scale some of the highest peaks in the world in pictures by photographer Jimmy Chin

  Here's a photographer who will go to great heights in his search for the ultimate picture. Jimmy Chin, probably the world's greatest adventure photographer, has travelled the world with highly-skilled mountain climbers, scaling huge peaks and even skiing down the face of Mount Everest.

 His travels have taken him to the tallest freestanding sandstone towers in the world, the Hand of Fatima in Mali, to the highest sheer cliff face on the globe. "The climbs up the Hand of Fatima which is 2,000 feet and Naga Parbat which is just over 15,000 feet were spectacular," said Jimmy.  "The Hand of Fatima and the Kaga Tondo in Mali, is a personal favourite of mine. That shot sums up the bravery and tremendous ability of these climbers, who allowed me to join them and to experience the same dangers that they face".

 To work with Steph Davis as she became the first woman to free climb El Capitan's Salathe Wall in Yosemite, was an honour and a privilege. "I am always concerned with finding the right spot and the right shot, so sometimes I forget to appreciate the skill of my fellow adventurers, but I am aware of how my life has been changed by my ability with a camera"

Of all his adventures though, his ascents of Everest stand out as his most physically demanding and rewarding. "You do wonder - when you are at 28,000 feet, the height that aeroplanes cruise at, when you are struggling to draw breath and every limb aches - why do I do this?"

 Pushing himself hard in training between jaunts, Jimmy's life is a constant whirl of planning, travel and photography. "I lose anywhere up to 20 pounds on location with adventurers like Conrad Anker or Brady Robinson," said Jimmy.  "So I need to replace that lost weight and muscle by training hard when I am back in the States between jobs. And as I get older it is far more important for me to be doing this and taking my conditioning seriously"

Mukesh Ambanis' Royal Yatch (India)

MUKESH AMBANI HAS JUST ORDERED THIS YACHT.......

COST 20 MILLION EUROS WILL BE PARKED AT BREACH CANDY, Mumbai.....

A famous French shipbuilder ship company and one from Monaco joined hands together to build this yacht with enormous dimensions... Its 58 meters long and 38 meters wide.

The yacht... with a floor area of 3400 M2 (36600 Sq. feet.) with accomodation for 12 passengers and 20 crew members.

This is a "green" yacht. It use green energy for 20-30% fuel savings and 40-50% electricity consumption on board.  Therefore it has 900M2 (9700 Sq. feet.) equipped with solar panels, producing a daily output of 500 kW.

Three decks, a 25 meter pool, a spa, a heli-pad, a 100M2 (1080 Sq. feet.) sauna, gym and massage room, a promenade of 130M2 (1400 Sq. feet.), a music room, a dining room, a cinema, sun decks, suites, terraces and a  lounge. The luxury is at the ultimate level. The decks are connected by stairs but there is also an elevator. The Owner's Suite..!!!!

With an area of 200M2 (2150 Sq. feet.) it completely covers the third deck. This is the view of the bedroom and bathroom. The sea view is great and there is a private terrace of 25 meters length.

The yacht has the shape of a horseshoe and has a retracting glass solar panel roof... so everything is bathed in a sea of light The spacious lounge.

On the lower deck are the common premises, such as lounge, piano bar and dining area. The Dining Room

Unique Style of Paper Art

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Meira's artistic endeavour began when he joined the printmaking course at the School of Fine Arts at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

In early 1990, Carlos moved to Portugal where he developed his unique style of paper sculpture. He returned to Brazil in 1996 and settled in Florianopolis where he further strengthened his illustration side. He has held six solo exhibitions and illustrated several books since then.

Carlos Meira has now devoted himself to illustration and paper sculpture having worked as an artist, designer and art director within the advertising industry.
