హృదయం - ‘మై హార్ట్ ఈజ్ బీటింగ్..’ అనిపించటం లేదూ?! ఆండ్రియాటిక్ సముద్రంలో క్రోటియాన్ తీర సమీపంలో ఉండే ఈ ద్వీపాన్ని ‘లవర్స్ ఐలాండ్’ అని ప్రేమికులు ముద్దుగా పిలుచుకుంటూంటారు. చుట్టూ అందమైన ప్రకృతి.. ఎతైన చెట్లు - పూపొదలతో నిశ్శబ్ద వాతావరణంలో అలరారే ఈ ‘ద్వీపం’ కొన్ని సంవత్సరాలపాటు ‘హృదయాకృతి’లో ఉంటుందని తెలీదు. 2009 ఫిబ్రవరిలో ‘గూగుల్ ఎర్త్’ ఈ సుందర దృశ్యాన్ని చిత్రీకరించటంతో బయటికి ప్రపంచానికి ఈ హృదయ స్పందన వినిపించింది.
స్పెర్మ్ - నీలినీలి సంద్రంలో ఈత కొడుతున్న ‘స్పెర్మ్’ మాదిరిగా కనిపించే ఈ ద్వీపం యూరోప్ - జపాన్ విమాన ప్రయాణంలో కనిపించటం మినహా దీనికి సంబంధించిన సమాచారం అంతగా తెలీదు.
ట్రీ - కోర్న్‌వాల్ తీరంలో ఉన్న ఈ ద్వీపం - చెట్టు మొదలు - శాఖలు - ఆకులు.. ఇలా ఒక చెట్టు ఆకారం ఏ మాత్రం పొల్లు పోకుండా ఉండటం దీని ప్రత్యేకత. ప్రకృతిలో ఇటువంటి ‘రహస్యం’ ఒకటి దాగి ఉందని ఇప్పటి వరకూ తెలీదు.
కేరెట్ - మాల్దీవుల సమూహంలో ఉన్న ఈ ద్వీపాన్ని మొట్టమొదటిసారిగా మేల్ ఇంటర్నేషనల్ ఎయిర్‌పోర్ట్ నుంచీ ఫొటోగ్రాఫర్ బద్రుద్దీన్ చిత్రీకరించాడు. మనకు మార్కెట్‌లో లభ్యమయ్యే ‘కేరెట్’ ఎలా ఉంటుందో సరిగ్గా అలాగే ఉంటుందీ ద్వీపం.
వెనెటియన్ మాస్క్ - ఈ ద్వీపం కూడా మాల్దీవుల్లోనిదే. దీన్ని ‘హువాహెడ్హూ’ ద్వీపం అంటారు. ఈ మాల్దీవుల్లో ఒక్కో ద్వీపం ఒక్కో విధంగా కనిపిస్తుంది. సుమారు 1,190 ద్వీప సముహం ఇది. దాదాపు 90వేల చదరపు కిలోమీటర్ల విస్తీర్ణంలో ఉన్న ఈ ద్వీపాలన్నీ భూమి మీద అతి తక్కువ ఎత్తులో ఉండటంవల్ల - భౌగోళిక శీతోష్ణ పరిస్థితుల కారణంగా సముద్ర మట్టం పెరిగినట్టయితే - మొదటిగా మునిగిపోయేది ఈ ద్వీపాలే.
లంగ్స్ - ఎక్కడైనా ఎర్రటి ఊపిరితిత్తులను చూసి ఉంటాం గానీ - ఇక్కడ మాత్రం పచ్చదనంతో అలరారే ‘గ్రీన్ లంగ్స్’ కనిపిస్తాయి. లగ్జరీ భవంతులు.. అతి ఖరీదైన హోటళ్లు.. స్విమ్మింగ్ పూల్స్.. టెన్నిస్ కోర్టులతో పర్యాటకులను విశేషంగా ఆకర్షిస్తున్నాయి.
పస్టిన్‌గ్రే - త్రికోణ ఆకారంలో.. పొడవైన తోకతో ఉన్నట్టు అనిపించే ఈ ద్వీపాన్ని ‘డానిష్’ ఐలాండ్ అంటారు. డెన్మార్క్‌లో మూడవ అతి పెద్ద ద్వీపం ఇది.
కార్టూన్ ఫిగర్ - ఏదో కార్టూన్ ఆకృతిని చూస్తున్నట్టు అనిపిస్తోంది కదూ?! ఇండోనేషియాకి సమీపంలో ఉండే ‘సుందా’ దీవుల్లోనిది. ఇంతకీ ఏ కార్టూన్ కేరికేచర్ అనుకుంటున్నారు?
ఐ - ఇది కూడా మాల్దీవుల్లోని ద్వీపమే. కనుగుడ్డు - రెటీనా - ఐరిస్‌లా కనిపించే ఈ ద్వీపాన్ని మహ్మద్ షరీఫ్ అనే ఫొటోగ్రాఫర్ ద్వారా ‘ఐ’లా ఉంటుందన్న నిజం తెలిసింది.
సీ హార్స్ - 2002లో ‘నాసా’ శాటిలైట్ ఈ ‘ఇమేజ్’ని భూమీదికి పంపించింది. మోడరేట్ రెజల్యూషన్ ఇమేజింగ్ సెక్ట్రోరేడియో మీటర్ ద్వారా పిక్చరైజ్ చేస్తే ఈ ద్వీపం ‘సీ హార్స్’కి మల్లే కనిపించింది. ఇసబెల్లా ఐలాండ్ - గలాపాగోస్ ద్వీపాల్లోనిది. అగ్నిపర్వతాలు బద్దలవటం మూలంగా ఏర్పడిన ఈ ద్వీపం లక్షల సంవత్సరాల నాటిదని అంచనా.
బూమెరాంగ్ - దక్షిణ చైనా సముద్రంలో ఉన్న ఈ ద్వీపాన్ని చేరుకోవటం అతి సులువు. మనీలా నుంచీ కౌలాలంపూర్ వెళ్లే విమాన మార్గంలో ఉంటుంది. విభిన్న వాతావరణ పరిస్థితులలో ఒక్కో తీరున కనిపించే ఈ ద్వీపం సంవత్సరంలో కొన్ని నెలలు ‘బూమెరాంగ్’లా కనిపించటం విశేషం.
స్మైలీ - మలేషియా సమీపంలో ఉన్న మనుకన్, మముటిక్, సులగ్ ద్వీప సముదాయం ఇది. చక్కటి నవ్వు ముఖం ఉన్నట్టు అనిపించే - ఈ ద్వీపాలంటే పర్యాటకులు ఇష్టపడుతూంటారు.
డాల్ఫిన్ - ఇండోనేషియాలోని ఫ్లోరెస్ ద్వీపం చూట్టానికి ‘డాల్ఫిన్’లా ఉంటుంది. పై నుంచీ చూస్తే సముద్రంలో ‘డాల్ఫిన్స్’ తిరుగుతున్నట్టు అనిపిస్తుంది.
